Steve Hudgins

Steve was a good man and was loved by all who knew him. He grew up in the church singing with his father, mother and sister. His greatest dream was to fly, and now he has gained his wings and made that dream come true. He enjoyed every minute he got to spend with his grandchildren and spoke often of his immense love for them. His greatest gift from God was his voice which he loved to share with everyone.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Hudgins; a son, Chris Hudgins; daughters, Michelle Groan, Diana Sprayberry and Michelle Smith; grandchildren, Mason, Ryder, Zach, Logan, Christian and Brennan; his mother, Joan Hudgins; and a sister, Cindy Grillo. He was preceded in death by his father, James Perry Hudgins.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover. The funeral service will be on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
