Shirley N. Emory

Mrs. Shirley N. Emory, 86, of Birmingham, AL passed away on January 17, 2022. She was born in Green Creek, NC on August 2, 1935. She spent much of her life in the Carolinas, as well as living in Birmingham for many years. Shirley was a loving wife to Ray for almost 64 years! She spent much of her life as a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert P. and Alice I. Williams; 2 brothers; and grandchild, Travis Snipes.

She is survived by her loving husband, Reginald Strickland “Ray” Emory; son, David Emory and his wife, Rozanne; daughter, Kathy Molizon and her husband, Randy; grandchildren, Caroline Emory and Chris Molizon; great-grandchild, Justin Pinelli and his wife Bridgit; great-great-granddaughter, Isabella Pinelli; and loving caregiver, Teresa Lawrence.

A private graveside service for family will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South in Hoover, AL with Dr. Steven Weems of First Baptist Church of Leeds officiating.
