Rachael Williams

Rachael Reed Williams, 57, of Hoover, Alabama passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021.  Rachael graduated from Millry High School in Millry, Alabama in 1982 and graduated from Auburn University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.  She was employed in various accounting positions throughout her life, but decided to forgo her professional career to be a fulltime, loving mom to Reed and Tyler. Countless people she came in contact with over the years knew her as a friend, but most importantly, knew her as a child of God.

Rachael is preceded in death by her parents, James Willard Reed and Virginia Cooper Reed.

Left to cherish Rachael’s memory are her loving husband, Mark Allen Williams; Son, Tyler Coleman Williams; Daughter, Reed Nicole Williams (Cole); Sisters, Robyn Reed Reynolds (Errol) and Ashleigh Reed Fitzpatrick (Kevin).

The family will receive guests at Hunter Street Baptist Church on Thursday, May 27, 2021, from 9:30-11:00am with a Celebration of Rachael’s Life to follow. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens South, in Hoover, Alabama. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in her memory to Breast Cancer Research of Alabama, www.bcrfa.org.
