Mrs. Reyford Nichols

Mrs. Reyford F. Nichols, 89, of Hoover, AL passed away on January 3, 2021. She grew up in Colbert County, AL and graduated from Jefferson Hillman School of Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse and raised a family. She was a member of Oakmont Chapel Presbyterian Church and various dance organizations.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin P. Nichols, Jr.; parents, William and Carrie Finney; and two sisters.

She is survived by her daughters, Carol Hinkle and Joyce Weaver; grandchildren, Reid Hinkle, Jessica Hester, Erin Weaver, and Ashleigh Hatcher; great-grandchildren, Eli Hatcher, Katie Hester, Taylor Hatcher, and Cooper Hester; and sister, Barbara Pickens.

There will be a private family graveside held at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South in Hoover, AL.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Oakmont Chapel Presbyterian Church CARE fund.
