Jeffrie Jones

Mr. Jeffrie Michael (Mike) Jones, 65, of Indian Springs, AL passed away on January 11, 2021. Mike graduated from Mountain Brook High School in 1973 and retired as a principal Radiation Technologist at UAB Medical Center and Kirklin Clinic. He was an avid tennis player and an expert in chess. As a devoted fan of Alabama Crimson Tide Football, he would have loved this year’s championship game. Mike had a great sense of humor and an uncanny, almost mystical ability to read people very well.

He is preceded in death by his father, William Erston Jones, Sr. and mother, Elsie Jean (Yeager) Jones.

He is survived by his brother, William E. Jones, Jr. and nieces, Natalie Jones, Rachael Jones, and Bethany Jones

A visitation will be held on January 22, 2021 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover, AL. The funeral service will begin from the funeral home chapel at 1:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
