Hoover

Jason Riley Quick, 48, of Hoover, AL passed away November 18, 2019.  He was born November 16, 1971 to loving and surviving parents, Mildred and Larry Quick.  Jason grew up in Hoover, AL and graduated from W. A. Berry High School in 1990.  Jason was a master on the grill and found inherent joy in the kitchen.  Jason also had a natural gift of connecting with, and impacting, people with his infectious personality and compassionate heart.  He was extraordinary in the way he loves his friends and family and was relentless in fostering those relationships.  He cherished his friendships through little league baseball and football, Berry High School and those that had his best interest at heart during the last years of his life.

He will be remembered most affectionately for the love he had for his parents; his sister, Christy Quick Hale, who preceded him in passing, December 6, 2008; his surviving aunt, Mary Romager; as well as his nieces, Anne Sellers Pierce (22), Alexandra Adams Pierce (20) and nephew, James Riley Hale (15), all of whom he was the proudest.

Visitation and prayer were held on November 22, 2019, for immediate family, before Jason was prepared for rest.  A Celebration of Life is being planned for early 2020 and will be announced to all friends and family.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to the charity of your choice.
