Eric Artner

A memorial service will be held at the Alabama National Cemetery at 3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115 on March 14th at 2:00 p.m.

Mr. Eric Anthony Artner, February 23, 1948- July 27, 202 passed away in his home in Birmingham, Alabama. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Anthony and Marilyn Artner. He attended Ohio State University and played football for Woody Hayes. He was a Vietnam Veteran, having proudly served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Rust Engineering specializing in Logistic facilities and Bio fuel facilities across the U.S. He was CEO for AWG Incorporated for the last 6 years and was currently working on a recycling facility in Ghana to enhance the health and lives of others. He enriched the lives of his family and friends, and he gave of himself to those in need. He befriended everyone he met and had a joke for every situation. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Marilyn Artner. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne; step-sons, Daniel and Daniel Gonzalez.
