Edward Easter

Easter, Edward Dempsey, age 81, of Hoover peacefully passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021. He was born in Empire and went on to graduate from Dora High School in 1958. He served on the U.S.S. Forrestal. He worked for almost 60 years as financial planner.

He was proceeded by his father Elvin, his mother Jewel, and his much loved high school sweetheart and wife of 44 years, Virginia.

He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Norris (Rance), his son Ed Easter (Siouxsie), and four grand-children Quintin, Blake (Charlotte Clare), Kell, and Charlotte. He is also survived by his beloved brother Joe Easter (Sara), and longtime dear friend Linda Wooten. He will be missed by nieces, nephews and friends.

He was sustained in this life by his Christian faith.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Oakhill Cemetery in Jasper, on November 19th at 1:00pm.
