Obituary

Carrol Sullivan Lagle “Buddy” was a caring and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved to sing and talk about his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was a praying man, who loved to read the Bible and pray for his family and friends. He enjoyed going on cruises and traveling all around the U. S. But his favorite place to go was the Smoky Mountains. In recent years, he loved to talk about his favorite show, “Mountain Men”. In earlier years, he was an outstanding athlete, playing basketball and running track for McAdory high school and he also played semi-pro basketball as well. He loved Parkwood  Church of God . His many years of service to the church included Sunday school superintendent, choir director, Christmas play stage design, lawn maintenance, giving to missions as well as many other areas that went unseen. He loved singing songs to the Lord and leading the congregation in worship. At his home, you could find him working in his yard or taking a break in his beloved screen room. He enjoyed Alabama football and the Boston Celtics. The legacy he left is that of love and servant hood unto the Lord and his family. He is now reunited with his wife, Barbara, his mother and father, Boyd and Minnie, his brothers and sisters, Herman, Aldon, Norma , and Mildred and many other family members and life long friends.

He is survived by his two sons, Randy Lagle (Vicki) and Brandon Lagle (Jessica), his sister, Gloria Wyatt. He has six grandchildren, Cameron, Scott, Angel, Mitchell, Noah and Madi Reese. He has four great grandchildren, Aiden, Sarah, Abbie and Eli.
