Alicia Holt

Mrs. Alicia Marie Holt, 66, of Pelham, AL passed away on September 19, 2021. Alicia was born in Cullman, AL on May 15, 1955 and moved to Ohio in the early 1960s. She graduated from Tecumseh High School in New Carlisle, OH in 1973. She received a B.S. in Education at Miami University, Ohio in 1977 and a Master’s degree at the University of Dayton, OH. She taught at Piqua High School. Alicia met Roger during June of 1982 and married in the fall. They lived in Huntsville, AL until 1994 and then resided in Birmingham where they raised three children. She was a devoted mom and grandmother. She showed her love for Jesus wherever she went and ran her race well!

She is preceded in death by her father, William Raymond Goings; and brother, Gregory Stephen Goings.

She is survived by her loving husband, Roger D. Holt; son, Jonathan William Holt; daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Holt Bates (Jarrod) and Jessica Suzanne Holt Lewis (Brett); grandchildren, Isabella Bates (10), Julianna Bates (8), and Abigail Bates (3); and mother, Nelda Sue Goings.

The Graveside Service will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 2:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South in Hoover, AL.
