Willie Mae Snyder, of Pelham, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017, at the age of 93.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard C. Snyder; 3 daughters, Diane Peters, Peggy Moore, and Blanche Johnson; and granddaughter, Melia Hand. She is survived by her grandchildren, Jeff Channell, Jody Channell (Misty), Dennis Greer, Holly Tidwell (Tim), Kim Doss (Jimmy), and Jennifer Newell (Richard); 12 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 12-1, Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral will follow at 1:00 in the chapel, Dr. Mike Shaw officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. The family would like to express a special thanks to Holly Streeter of Diversicare Nursing Home and Vickey Allums of New Beacon Hospice.
