William Smith

William L. Smith, of Cahaba Heights, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022 at the age of 96. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Evelyn Grace Bailey Smith. He is survived by his children: Bill Smith, Jr. (Cindy), Jackie Smith Whited (Lane), Steve Smith (Karen), and Greg Smith (Lane); 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. Also survived by his siblings: his brother, Rondel Smith (Betty), and his sisters, Louise Alberson (Gene), Dorothy Penton and Dessie McCord. He loved his family, community, and country but loved his Lord and Savior above all else. We are so thankful he is now in his heavenly home.
