William Hendon
August 19, 1928 — December 6, 2016
William Ralph Hendon, age 88, went home to his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 6, 2016. He was a devoted member of McElwain Baptist Church. He retired from Southern Company Services. He is survived by Mary his beloved wife of sixty years, adored children Susan and David, sisters Maxine Kemp, Eloise (Charlie) Alexander, and much loved nieces and nephews. His faith was unwavering, his strength was immeasurable, and his love was encompassing. He was a blessing to all who knew him.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 9, 2016, from 1-2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel. The Graveside Service will follow at 2 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South with Pastor Jody Baker officiating.
