Wanda Hudson

Wanda L. Hudson, age 83, of Hoover, Al went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Wayne Hudson.

She is survived by a son, Greg Hudson and daughter-in-law Louise Hudson; a grandchild; Leanna Hudson; sister; Melba Shaw; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Ms. Hudson was a long time resident of Birmingham, Alabama and was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church where she was active in childcare and Sunday School. She loved arts and crafts, cooking and spending time with her family. Her devout faith was an inspiration to her friends and family. Her favorite bible verse was Galatians 5:22-23. The Fruit of the Spirit was the foundation of her spirit and character; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Services will held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Currie Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bryan Gunn officiating with burial to follow at Jefferson Memorial South in Hoover. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
