Wanda Childers

Wanda Ann Childers, 73, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023 with her children at her side.

Wanda was a loving wife to her late husband of 53 years; whom she helped build a thriving family business with.

She was a proud mother to her two children and a doting grandmother to her three grandchildren to whom she was affectionately known as 'Mommers'.

She loved her family; and adored her grandkids. It's hard to find pictures of her without a grandchild in her lap or one by her side. She showered her family with the love of Jesus with how she loved them.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 9:00am to 10:00am at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover AL. The funeral service will begin from the chapel at 10:00am. Interment will immediately follow at Hoover First United Methodist Church.
