Victoria Andresen

of Birmingham, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2005, at the age of 63. She was born of missionary parents in Argentina and later lived in England and mostly in the United States. Shades Mountain Bible Church was her home church in Birmingham. During an extended battle against cancer she showed extraordinary courage and faith, a great example on how to deal with adversity and source of inspiration to those who knew her. She is survived by her husband John; a son, John Philip; and a sister Lois (Rolf). A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2005, at 6:00 pm at the Shades Mountain Bible Church (2230 Sumpter St., Birmingham, AL 35226).
