Vera Robertson

Vera Marie Robertson passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at her home in Hoover, Alabama. Marie was born to Revis and Avalene Carver in Cordova, Alabama.  She grew up on a small farm with her younger sister Ruby Helen.  Her fondest childhood memories were of experiencing nature and time with her grandmother.  She loved to paint, travel and cooking for her family. Marie is survived by her sister Ruby Helen, husband James, three sons; Stephen, Jamie, Lee, Sammie, daughter in laws; Kelly, Ai, Michelle, Nikki, Jamie, her beloved eleven grandchildren; Austin, Candice, Kodi, Chase, Gabbie, Oliver, Levi, Katie, JohnLee, Ren, Hana and great grandchild Cisco. She raised four sons and spent much of her time and effort for her grandchildren.  She was an advocate for abused women and children.  She enjoyed volunteering to distribute meals to the elderly and at local public gardens.  She was a master gardener and enjoyed raising chickens.  She had a deep love for God and looked forward to the day she would enter Heaven.
