Vandy Ellis

Vandy Lowery Ellis, of Hoover, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2016, at age 46. She was a graduate of W.A. Berry High School, a state champion in diving, and was a member of Green Valley Baptist Church. Vandy volunteered her time as an animal advocate and rescued many animals. She was a certified veterinarian assistant and had her own dog walking business. She was a strong worker for animal rights.

She is survived by her husband of 5 years, Dr. Richard Ellis; her two sons, Tyler and Hunter Lowery; her parents, Ronald and Donna Lowery; her brother, Thad Lowery (Wendy); her grandmother, Lois Lowery; and 3 nieces and nephews.

The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016, at 10 AM in the Chapel at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home.
