Tony Townsend

TOWNSEND, TONY "FAT DADDY," of Alabaster, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at the age of 41. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was employed by Mid South Steel. He is preceded in death by his mom, Ann Atkinson and his dad, Charles Townsend. He is survived by his wife, Robin Townsend; two sons, Joshua Andrew Townsend and Zachary Ryan Townsend; two sisters, Anita McCartney and Deborah Patterson; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 PM, Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, Bro. Roy Griggs, Bro. J.D. Davis, and Bro. Hal Warren officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
