Hoover, Alabama

Timothy Jerome Aycock, age 77, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025, following an extended battle with Parkinson’s disease. He is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Myra Aycock, whose love and partnership were a constant source of strength throughout his life.

Born on October 18, 1947, in Birmingham, Alabama, Tim was raised in Adamsville alongside his sister Marcia. He graduated from Minor High School and attended Birmingham-Southern College before beginning a long and successful career with Great Dane Trailers, where he served as a salesman and branch manager for 39 years.

Tim was a passionate Alabama football fan, an avid fisherman who cherished time on the water with his children and grandchildren, a devoted outdoorsman who enjoyed deer and quail hunting and golf.

Tim and Myra made their home in Hoover, where they were active members of Shades Mountain Community Church, finding fellowship and support in their faith community.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, C.C. and Maureen Aycock.

He is lovingly remembered by:
