Thomas Missildine

Thomas (Tommy) Robert Missildine born August 20, 1949 of Birmingham, AL, passed away at the age of 76 on Monday, August 25, 2025. He was born to Robert and Mary Jane Missildine and grew up in Homewood, AL as an only child. After completing high school, he worked at Alabama Central Heating and AC, then went on to obtain a career in truck driving, where he retired from Averitt Express.

Some of Tommy's greatest enjoyments came from hunting, fishing, and traveling. He will be remembered for his intelligence, kindness, and dedication to family and friends.

He is survived by his three children: Debra Missildine Reid, Jennifer Missildine Gregory (Charles), and Kristy Missildine Hooper; seven grandchildren: William Burkett (Danielle), Andrew Burkett, Shawn Reid, McKenzie Hooper, Brody, Tyler, and Olivia Reynolds; and four great-grandchildren: Devin Smith, Kolten, Lincoln, and Khali Burkett. He is also remembered fondly by his faithful friends and neighbors.
