Stephanie Toomer Landry
Born the first of four children to Charles Joseph Toomer and Annette Songy Toomer on July 1, 1958, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was called home by Jesus, her Lord and Savior, and entered Heaven's gates on May 21, 2021.
A long time resident of Hoover, Alabama, with deep roots in south Louisiana, she was a beloved wife to Marvin Paul Landry for 42 years. She is survived by her four children: Erin, Colleen, Timothy, and Ryan and their spouses. She loved spending time with her seven grandchildren: Luke, Evie, Reese, Elise, William, Cal, and Beau. She is also survived by her siblings: Chuck Toomer, Susan Wrobel, Marlene Lepkowski. She was preceded in death by her parents and are now celebrating their heavenly reunion.
Stephanie was an active member of Green Valley Baptist Church. She was dedicated to the food bank for over 16 years, most recently serving as Co-Director. She volunteered many hours delivering Meals On Wheels. Her heart was to serve people in need, being the hands and feet of Jesus. She also loved to gather with friends and family to host dinner parties, to watch LSU games, and to cook and eat Cajun food.
The family extends their gratitude to numerous friends and family who supported and prayed for her during her battle with lung cancer. She will be deeply missed by many.

A celebration of her life will be held at Green Valley Baptist Church on May 26, 2021 at 10a.m.
