Singleton Peacock

of Alabaster, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at the age of 83. He was a 50 year member of the Masons, a lifetime VFW member and he retired from the US Army as a Sergeant First Class. He was preceded in death by his wife of more than 50 years, Doris J. Peacock. He is survived by a daughter, Donna Skinner (Billy) of Pelham; two grandchildren, Brook Gibbons (Robbie) of Pelham and Rae Ann German (Ken) of Deatsville; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Jerene Nichols of Birmingham. A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South with Rev. Steve Strange officiating
