Shirley Blair

Shirley M. Blair, of Hoover, passed away Monday, May 15, 2017, at the age of 82. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Hoover. Ms. Shirley was a very devoted homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Waylon "Ed" Blair. She is survived by 2 daughters, Deborah Anne Preston (Richard) and Gina Blair; 2 grandchildren, Ariel Danielle Minshew and Mason Whitmarsh; and her brother, Daniel McCullough, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM, Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Service will follow at 2:00 in the chapel, Dr. Randy Atkinson officiating. Interment will be in Southern Heritage Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to First Baptist Church of Hoover.
