Sandra Payne Williams, 86, passed away peacefully in her home on June 6, 2026.

Sandra graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1960, where she was a proud member of the Kappa Delta Sorority. While attending Vanderbilt, she met the love of her life, Dr. Pryor A. Williams Jr., whom she later married. Together they built a loving family and shared many wonderful years together.

Sandra enjoyed a successful 25-year career in real estate. She was known for her professionalism, kindness, and genuine care for her clients, many of whom became lifelong friends. Her warmth, compassion, and ability to make others feel valued left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dr. Pryor A. Williams Jr.

Sandra is lovingly remembered by her children, Pryor A. Williams III, Warren Williams (Tracy), and Ashley Aitkens (Robert). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Jordan Beil, Jessica Beil, Savanna Windham, Wyatt Williams, and Abel Baybay, who brought her tremendous joy and pride.

A memorial service celebrating Sandra’s life will be held on Saturday, July 11, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by the memorial service at 11:00 a.m.

Sandra will be remembered for her grace, generous spirit, unwavering love for her family, and the lasting friendships she cultivated throughout her life. Her legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
