Sandra Samples

Sandra (Sandy) Reker Samples of Birmingham, AL, cherished by her family, went home to be with the Lord Jesus Monday, September 19th, 2022 at the age of 67.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Bryan Samples and father Kenneth Reker.

She is survived by her son, William Bryan Samples Jr. (Jennifer); daughter, Shannon Samples Schiefer (Robb); seven grandchildren, Emma Charles (Jacob), Jordan Samples, Noah Samples (Madison), Alyssa Schiefer, Brylee Samples, Carrington Schiefer and Emery Schiefer; one great-grandchild Havyn Samples; her mother, Rosemary Reker; brother, Kenneth Reker Jr. (Robin); three sisters, Gail Reker, Susan Naber (Mark) and Beverly Reker; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Prince of Peace Catholic Church chapel on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m.  Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. in the main sanctuary followed by burial at Currie Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Hoover, AL.
