Russell Kilgore

Russell Hubert Kilgore, age 92, of Birmingham/Bessemer AL passed away on October 20th, 2022.  He was a life long resident of Birmingham and an Army Veteran.  He had a Bachelor of Arts in Social and Behavioral Sciences and was a member of the Shades Mountain Baptist Church.   He was a laid-back man, who had a quiet and quick-witted humor.  He will be missed by all who knew him!

A service to remember Russell’s life will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Pastor Jonathan Payne officiating.

Those left to cherish his memory are his two grandchildren, Kelsie and Rebecca Kilgore; friend, Nell Larson; niece, Lu Ann Presson.
