Richard Johnson II.

Richard Ainslie Johnson II,65, 0f Hoover Alabama beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away Monday May 27th. He suffered a very brief illness of neuro endocrine cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Ainslie Johnson and Pattie Hearld Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Tina Steen Johnson, son Richard Ainslie Johnson III (Trey), daughter Jenna Lynn Johnson, Granddaughter Ainslie Ellen Johnson, sister Jill Johnson Saenz, and his much-loved puppies Scarlett and Isabella.

Richard grew up in Mountain Brook Alabama and attended Mountain Brook High School He received his bachelor's degree at University of Alabama, His master's in public administration at the University of Alabama Birmingham, and his Juris Doctorate at Birmingham School of Law.

Richard retired from the City of Hoover where he was Director of Inspections, and was currently employed at SBDEV, Signature Homes, as in house council.

Richard's funeral will be held at Currie Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover Alabama on Monday June 10th, 2024. Visitation is from 10am to 11am and memorial service will follow from 11am to 12pm.

Richard was loved by all who knew him and he will be dearly missed.
