Rev. James Standifer

of Alabaster, passed away, Saturday, February 26, 2005, at the age of 89. He was a member of Kingwood Assembly of God in Alabaster. Rev. Standifer was an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God for over 60 years. He is survived by his wife, Lois Standifer, of Alabaster; a son, Daryl Standifer (Marsha) of Birmingham; two grandsons, Daniel and Blake Standifer; one brother, Frank Standifer of Newton, AL; and one sister, Martha Crews of Panama City, FL. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 1, 2005, from 6 to 8 pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at 11 am at Kingwood Assembly of God in Alabaster, with Rev. Ron Cox officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
