Raul Andres Braidot

Raul Andres Braidot has earned his wings and is now in Heaven, with his beloved parents Bruno Braidot and Maria Dolores Cardile de Braidot. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Celia Beatriz Sabre-Braidot, daughter Mercedes Braidot (son-in-law Ricardo Ortiz), grandsons Ricardo Andres Ortiz-Braidot and Luis Fernando Ortiz-Braidot, and sister Maria del Carmen Braidot de Campagnoni.
Raul wrote his name with an accent, “Raúl”. Such was the intensity with which he worked and loved his family. Born in Argentina, he brought his wife and daughter to the U.S. in the 1990’s, and finally found a second, sweet home in Alabama. He possessed a rare mixture of brawn and grace. Raul was always selfless and supportive, touching the lives of everyone around him with kindness and love. Protector of his wife and cat (Donald), Raul was as strong as he was gentle. Simple yet complex, Raul had an unmatched work ethic. Always well dressed and punctual, he was the ultimate gentleman.
Raul’s family and friends are sorely saddened by his passing, yet rejoice in his legacy and in the promise of eternal life for those who embrace and lead a righteous life. Raul was such a righteous man.
