Ralph Stokes

passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2008, at the age of 76. He was a retired First Sergeant in the U.S. Army and was a retired Assistant Trainmaster with the Birmingham Southern Railroad. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph & Essie Stokes, and a brother, Russell Stokes. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Stokes; four sons, Ralph, Francis, Michael and Christopher Stokes; five grandchildren, Stacey, Amy, Elizabeth, Holly and Mitchell; a brother, Carrol Stokes; and a sister, Ruth Stokes. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 9, 2008, from 2-4 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover.
