Peachy Spruce Jr.

Peachy Charles Spruce, Jr., of Hoover, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019, at the age of 90.  He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather.  Peachy was a member of Oakmont Presbyterian Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Peachy Charles Spruce and Mary Smith Spruce; his wife of 58 years, Anne Trinkle Spruce; and his daughter, Virginia Lee Spruce.

He is survived by his daughter, Martha Spruce Lamon (Robert); 2 grandchildren, Robert Brent Lamon (Kacey) and Charles Cooper Lamon (Meagan); 6 great grandchildren, Hadley Lamon, Harper Lamon, Lucy Lamon, Hayes Lamon, Wells Lamon, and Shepard Lamon.

Memorial service will be at 11:30 AM, Saturday, August 10, 2019, at Oakmont Presbyterian Church, Patton Chapel Road in Hoover, Rev. Dr. Paul Sherwood officiating.  Reception will follow the memorial service.
