Paul Adrian Hicks

Paul Adrian Hicks went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 19, 2026. He was born in Greenville, Mississippi and lived most of his life in Birmingham, Alabama. He was a son of Morris Adron Hicks and Agnes Ware Stanfield Hicks. He worked for many years at Channel 6/WBRC. He was also a gifted classical guitarist. He taught guitar for many years at The School of Fine Arts here in Birmingham and also taught private guitar lessons in his home.

In his younger days, he was an avid golfer and hiker and enjoyed planning trips to many of the National Parks out West where he had some memorable trips like camping at the bottom of the Grand Canyon.

He is survived by his wife, Judy, and his sisters Carol (Tim ) and Virginia and brother Jim, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Sherrill (Bob).
