Patricia Rockett

Patricia Ruth (Mize) Rockett, 88, was born September 2, 1936 and passed peacefully into heaven on May 15, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Robert (Bobby) Rockett and her son, Keith Rockett. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Kirkpatrick (Harold) and Diane Morris (Bradley); grandchildren, Alison Ramsey (Josh), Christopher Rockett, Stephanie Spencer (Caleb), Kristen Cabaniss (Anthony), and Michell Morris (Kirstin); 6 great grandsons (Wyatt, Tanner, Noah, Oliver, Hudson and James). A graduate of Hueytown High School, Patrica and Bobby spent their last several years in the Hoover area. She loved to travel and loved seeing her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren as much as she could. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at Asbury United Methodist Church on Tuesday, May 20, at 1:00 PM with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Asbury United Methodist Church, 6690 Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham, AL 35242.
