Patricia Ann Williams Reid

Patricia Ann Williams Reid went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, October 23, 2025. Patricia was a devoted and loving wife to her husband, Olen Reid, with whom she shared 61 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a beautiful life rooted in faith, family, and love.

She was the proud mother of three children, the beloved grandmother of seven, and the cherished great-grandmother of one. Patricia’s life was a reflection of her deep love for her family and her steadfast faith in God.

She was an active member of Vestavia Primitive Baptist Church, where she found great joy in worship and in singing with the church congregation. Her generosity, compassion, and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. Known for her kindness and hospitality, Patricia loved preparing home-cooked meals and welcoming others into her home. Her table was a place of warmth, laughter, and love, and she found true happiness in serving those around her.

Patricia will be remembered as a woman of grace, strength, and unwavering faith. Her legacy of love and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, her friends, and all whose lives she so deeply touched.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Olen Reid; her sister, Donna (Curtis) Garrett; her children, Scott (Elisa) Reid, Audra (Brian) Bentley, and Alane Reid; her grandchildren, Patrick (Catherine) Conlee, Hunter Conlee, Brooks Conlee, Rutger Reid, Emery Elizabeth Reid, Madison (Joey) Hobbs, and Katelyn Bentley; and her great-granddaughter, Jovie Conlee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob Bart Williams Jr. and Nellie Naomi Williams.
