Pasqual Frank Cerniglia

Pasqual "Pat" Frank Cerniglia 1946-2026, beloved father, grandfather, and friend to many, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026.

Born on August 5, 1946, in Birmingham, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his mother Angeline Conova Cerniglia, his father Frank Cerniglia and his sister Vinzene Cerniglia Vetrano. Pat, born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, attended Ensley High School and Jeff State Community College. Pat had a long successful career in sales and also was a veteran of the Army National Guard. Pat spent his last several years in retirement and enjoying time with his sons and grandchildren.

Pat is survived by his sister Mary Cerniglia Contorupis, his sons, Christoper Cerniglia and Jason Cerniglia (wife Angie), and his grandchildren, Palmer Cerniglia (18), Peyton Cerniglia (17), Parson Cerniglia (14), and Presley Cerniglia (12) and his nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate Pat's life on Friday, February 13th at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home 2701 John Hawkins Parkway, Hoover, AL 35244. Visitation is at 10:00am followed by a brief service at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers Pat requested that donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
