Olive Bacino

of Bessemer, entered into rest on Monday, February 12, 2007, at the age of 89. She was very active in the Senior Olympics with over 100 medals in Gold, Silver and Bronze -National and State. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; sons, Richard and Michael F.; daughters; Betty and Lorrine; and one great-grandchildren, Joseph Sims. She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Sims (John) of Bessemer; two sons, Raymond Bacino (Beverly) and John Bacino (Sue) both of Blythe, GA; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-granchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 15, 2007, from 12 until 2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Mark Davenport officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
