On November 8, 2019 at the age of 77, Nancy went home to be with her Lord and Savior. Nancy was a long-time resident of Hoover, AL where she shared 56 years of love and adventures with the love of her life Woody Strozier. Faith and family were the most important to Nancy. Her laugh was contagious and abundant when she was with her sisters and friends. She lived by example and taught her children and grandchildren how to love and serve your family, make all people feel welcome, and to have fun doing it. Her greatest legacy is showing what it means to fully trust the Lord in all things and to keep Him first. That lesson will live on in the lives of all who knew her. She was a member of Shades Mountain Baptist Church for 60 years and served as a Sunday School teacher for 20 years. On top of raising a family, Nancy worked at Strozier Construction Company for 25 years.
Preceded in death by her parents, William Rayburn Worthington and Ina Lorine Worthington.
Survived by her husband, Woody Strozier; children, Steven Strozier (Julie), Greg Strozier (Beth), and Suzanne Strozier Johnson; 12 grandchildren, Hunter (Lora), Christian, Anna, Jacob, Joshua, Faith, Mary Grace, Katie, Sam, Claudia, Ella and Ethan; sisters, Ina Raye Muncher, Billie Payton, and Janice Culver; and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
