Myra Jean Pool

Myra "Jean" Wells Pool of Verbena, AL age 91 pasted away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 in Azle, Texas. She was born November 8, 2023 in Helena, AL to Nida Martin Wells and Clifton Wells. Jean was a wife, mother and grandmother; she worked as Nurse for many years but enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of family.

Jean was preceded in death by her mother, Nina Wells and Clifton Wells both of Helena; her beloved husband, Huburt Franklyn "Jack" Pool, two sons, Bruce Wells of Verbena and Randall Skinner of Texas, two grandchildren, Amanda Wells of Texas and Donna Jenkins of Alabaster, two sisters, Sue Russel and Louise Fewell of Texas, her brother, Sony Wells.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Donna Caudle of Verbena, AL; her brother, Thomas (Cynthia) Wells of Birmingham, AL; 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 26, 2023 beginning at 12:00 noon at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover with a Chapel Service at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home, burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens South.
