Mrs. Mildred McDonald, of Homewood, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2014. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was past local director of Key to the City Newcomer's Service. Mrs. McDonald was a loving and caring mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her two sons, Mike McDonald (Dianne) and Steve McDonald; her daughter, Joan Cook; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 12 noon to 1:00 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover. Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, East in Trussville.
