Michael Giddens

of Hoover, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2008, at the age of 28. Michael was a 1998 graduate of Hoover High School and attended the University of Alabama, where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Giddens. He is survived by, Amanda Giddens of Hoover; 2 daughters, Olivia and Hannah; his father, Cole Giddens (Kelli) of Pell City; 2 sisters, Laurie Howard (Shane) and Cindy Abston (John); and a brother, Robby Giddens, all of Hoover. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 8, 2008, from 6-8 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2008, at 11:00 AM at Bluff Park United Methodist Church, with Rev. Reid Crotty officiating. Interment will be in Valley Hill Cemetery in Pell City.
