Melba Spink, of Vestavia Hills, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018, at the age of 84.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Marvin, Durwood, and Max. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, John Spink; 4 sons, David Spink (Christy), John Spink, Jr. (Barbara), Mark Spink (Alison), & Mike Spink; daughter, Molly Packard (Frank); 12 grandchildren, Brent, Brian, Stephen, Katie, Lauren, Ross, Jack, Sara, Adam, Ben, Ryan, and Alexandra; 7 great grandchildren, Boone, Reed, Isaac, Nora Leigh, Betts, Brantley, and Adelaide; sisters-in-law, Lucy and Alice.
The family will receive friends from 1-2, Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Currie-Jefferson funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Service will follow in the chapel. Entombment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
