Maurice Williams

Mr. Maurice Williams, 64, of Helena, AL passed away on October 5, 2021. He was born on February 14, 1957 to the late Rufus and Christine Williams. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from General Motor Institute. He married Amancia Carrera in 2004 and to that union was born Karlamarie. He loved his family and others.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Christine Williams; brother, Gerald; sister, Katherine; and nephew, Tyvis.

He is survived by his loving wife, Amancia Carrera Williams; daughter, Karlamarie Williams; brothers, Geoffrey Williams, Rufus Williams, and Roderick Williams; sisters, Valeria Wildridge, Reba Dixon, Patrice Wallace, Cathey Williams, Danielle Elkerson, and Mygnon Hicks; and in-laws, Simona, Judith, Dimas, Rosalia, Mariana, Ezequiel, Guadalupe, Carlos, Samuel, Jorge, and Joaquina.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover, AL. The funeral service will begin in the chapel at 1:00pm with Father Reju Pynadath officiating.
