Mary Elizabeth Wimberly, of Hoover, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at the age of 97.
She is survived by 2 sons, John Dean Wimberly (Becky) and Gary Earnest Wimberly; 2 grandchildren, Dean Austin Wimberly (Maris) and Mark Claybrook Wimberly; 4 great grandchildren, Max, Ty, Galina, and Ivan; and her sister, Anita Alldredge (Hace).
The family will receive friends from 2-3, Thursday, October 31, 2019, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Service will follow in the chapel at 3:00, Dr. Brian Lee officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shades Crest Baptist Church Building Fund.
