Mary Sanders

Sue Sanders, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the age of 89. She retired from Walmart where she was District Assistant for 28 years. A long time member of First Baptist Church of Helena, Sue was also a member of The Red Hat Club and a Bunko group. She loved going to the beach with her friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louise and Walter Sanders; brothers, Walter Sanders, Jr. and Albert Sanders; and a sister, Dorothy Reese.

She is survived by 4 sons, Mike Mitchell ( Carla) , Alan Mitchell, Tim Mitchell (Sallie), and Mark Mitchell (Rose); a daughter, Susan Mitchell; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Highland Memorial Gardens in Bessemer.
