Mary Phillips

Mary Anne Primeau Phillips, 92, passed away peacefully at home in Hoover, AL on January 29, 2022. She was born in Royal Oak, MI to her parents, Thomas Alexander and Marie Melanise Primeau. While being employed as a flight attendant for Delta Airlines in 1950, Mary Anne met and married her husband of over 60 years, Wayne Richard Phillips, in Chicago, IL. Mary Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne and sons, Richard Wayne and David James Phillips. She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Jones and Amy Thompson (Billy); three grandchildren, Jordan Lemen (Tyler), Matt Jones (Heather) and Lauren Ludwig; three great grandchildren, Georgia Jones, Josie Jones and Remmington Ludwig, and other extended family. Mary Anne was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Hoover since moving to Alabama in 2006 from Richmond, Texas. There will be a funeral mass for Mary on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. The visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church.
