Mary Cosper

of Helena, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at the age of 90. She was born on September 28, 1914, in Fort Deposit, AL. A member of Pelham Church of Christ, she loved to travel and lived life to the fullest. Mrs. Cosper was a beloved mother and grandmother who entertained many with her amusing songs and stories. She is survived by a daughter, Peggy Bearden (Joel) of Helena; four grandchildren, Jan Peoples (Steve) of Helena, Mickey Finn (Eddie) of Chelsea, Kim Wash and Staci Ballard (Royce) of Pelham; eleven great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and two sisters, Opal Smallridge of Hoover, and Louise Holt of Montgomery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 26, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Graveside services will be on Friday, May 27, 2005, at 4 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, with Dr. Eddie Finn officiating. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
