Mary Barnette

Barnette, Mary Elizabeth Hutchins, of Homewood, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2005, in Bloomington, IL, at the age of 67. She was born April 26, 1938, in Covington, Kentucky to James P. Hutchins and Evelyn Jane Terry Hutchins. She married William (Bill) Brantley Barnette on December 12, 1959, in Birmingham. He preceded her in death on May 9, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and one brother James Hutchins. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and friend who loved bird watching, gardening and raising Shelties. She is survived by one son, Jay Barnette (Jackie) of Titusville, FL; two daughters, Anne Ryburn (Todd) of Bloomington, IL and Mary Jane Barnette of Birmingham; two grandchildren, Brian Harrell of Birmingham and Brantley Barnette of Titusville, FL; two brothers, Terry A. Hutchins (Beverly) and Hal W. Hutchins (Donna), five nieces and one nephew. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 15, 2005, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover, AL. Funeral services will be held at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Friday, December 16, 2005, at 11:00 AM with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens South.
