Marie Cantrell Roubdioux

Marie Joan Cantrell Roubdioux 83. A native of Jefferson County (Birmingham, Ensley, and Bessemer) Alabama. She was loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, wife, Sister, Aunt, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gilder J and Lois Colvert Cantrell. By her husband of 57yrs Ralph E Roubdioux. She is survived by sister Vera C Butler of Morris Al, and brother Charles Cantrell (Linda) of Savannah, Georgia. By her daughter Tammy R Pettit (Thomas) of Dora Al, and son Russell E Roubdioux Bessemer Al. By four grandchildren: Heather Sanderson (Robert), Jessica Glover, Ashley Williams (Tim) Dora Al, and Aaron Roddy (Traci) of Morris Al.

Seven great grandchildren: Nicholas, Julia, Lillian, Jaiden, Chloe, Caleb, and Nathan. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services as follows: Currie-Jefferson funeral home.

Visitation begins at 11am in chapel, service beginning at noon with burial in Memorial Gardens in south cemetery to follow.
