Marie Riley
August 4, 1939 — August 6, 2024
Marie Hammitt Riley went to be with her Lord August 6th, 2024, at the age of 85. She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Jerry V. Riley, her father Clifford Hammitt, her mother Ellen Hammitt, her bonus mother Emma L. Hammitt, and her sister Marcia Johnson.
She is survived by her son Michael Riley, sister Teresa Tanner, nephew Clint Johnson, nieces Stacy (Bobby) Hendon and Emmalee (Charlie) Collier, many great nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Marie was a devout Christian and very involved in the work of her Lord. She had a giver's heart and had a special place in her heart for animals. She was a member of ASPCA for over 30 years.
